Unmatched Field Performance
36" of toolbar operating clearance allows you to apply at later growth stages when it is needed most by the plant. Hydraulic down pressure on models 2600, 1800, and 1400 provides active toolbar downforce to keep the coulters in the ground for consistent penetration. Parallel linkages on models 2600 and 1800 enhance the down pressure on the coulters for consistent fertilizer positioning in the row.
Wing Tilt
The hydraulic wing tilt feature on models 2600, 1800, and 1400 automatically raises the wings 15° when raising the toolbar on end rows for minimizing crop damage while turning. Four tool-free adjustable toolbar gauge wheels on models 2600 and 1800 and two gauge wheels on models 1400 and 1000 ensure consistent working depth.

Application Systems
Durability is Standard
Single Coulter System
Square-tube coulter posts mounted to the toolbar with cast iron clamps and straight bolts ensure that the coulter stays straight and the mounting posts won’t twist in tough conditions.
The 20” diameter coulter blades feature six-bolt coulter hubs for extended life with 1,500 lbs. of down pressure for consistent soil penetration regardless of soil density.
Choose from straight or wavy coulter blades that can swivel up to 15° in each direction for 30° of total travel which accurately follows the terrain. The greaseable pivot point for the swivel ensures you can purge out corrosive fertilizer for greater longevity.
Choose a high-pressure injection nozzle or injection knife that is mounted on a heavy-duty, 1” thick mounting arm for consistent and long-term on-target application.
Double Coulter System
This system features the same heavy-duty components as the Single-Coulter system, but utilizes 2 coulters that are offset 10" apart between each row. The nozzles inject fertilizer 5" closer to each row which is 33% closer than a single-coulter system! Studies have shown that injecting nitrogen closer to the plant root equates to increased yield and better uptake.
Dual Delivery System
This innovative application system combines a Single-Coulter down the center of each row with two trailing hoses, one mounted on each side of the coulter. This allows the operator to inject nitrogen into the soil down the middle of the row and apply it on top of the soil right next to the plant root.
A selector valve allows the user to apply with both the coulter and hoses at the same time or just one system or the other depending on preference. The u-shaped steel coulter mounting bracket positions each tube outward for consistent application at the plant's base for optimum nitrogen uptake when moisture is available.
Plumbing & Pumps
The standard hydraulic pump features pulse-width modulation that won’t overspeed the hydraulic motor, provides instant swath control response and only runs to meet the output demand which maximizes pump life. Models 2600 and 1800 feature an Ace 750 PWM pump with run-dry technology and models 1400 and 1000 feature an Ace 205 PWM pump.
Electric Flo-Bak® ball valves are mounted on the toolbar for a faster response time and fertilizer savings on each shut-off. The Flo-Bak ball valve system immediately turns off the plumbing to each row and returns the remaining liquid in the plumbing lines back to the tank.
For application versatility and applying fertilizer only where it’s needed, 6-section plumbing is standard on 80' and larger toolbars, 5-section plumbing on 66’ to 40’ toolbars, and 3-section plumbing on 30’ toolbars.
ISOBUS Controls
Undercarriage
Gooseneck Hitch
The gooseneck hitch design enhances the downforce on the toolbar for penetrating tough soils and the short hitch-to-axle length permits tighter turns for less crop rundown.
Single or Dual Wheels & Tires
Single wheels and tires are available on models 1800, 1400, and 1000 and dual wheels and tires are available on models 2600 and 1800. Models 1800 and 1400 with single and dual wheels and tires feature heavy-duty 10-bolt hubs, while model 1000 features 8-bolt hubs.

Nitrogen 101
Basic Information
Dry/Granular by Broadcasting – Urea contains 46% nitrogen
Gas/Vapor by Banding - Anhydrous Ammonia contains 82% nitrogen
Liquid by Injection – UAN Solutions contain 28% or 32% nitrogen
Nitrogen can be lost due to denitrification, volatilization, or leaching. Denitrification occurs when the soils are not the proper temperature and the nitrogen turns into a gas and is lost in the air. Volatilization is a biological process that occurs when urea molecules convert to ammonia gas and are released into the atmosphere. Leaching is when the nitrate molecule is not held in the soil and is carried by excess water below the root zone. Our goal is to reduce fertilizer loss!
One of the ways we can minimize loss is by delaying part of the nitrogen application process until the corn is 10 to 16 inches tall (side dressing), which can minimize leaching and denitrification when corn needs it the most.
Corn needs nitrogen at each stage of development, however, most nitrogen is required prior to the grain fill period. For reference, approximately 1 pound of nitrogen yields 1 bushel of corn. If the goal is 200 bushels of corn per acre, then 200 pounds of nitrogen per acre is needed. Ideally, 50 pounds would be applied at planting and another 150 pounds at side dressing (when the plant is between 10 and 16 inches tall and needs it most).
